Sunrise is an independent networking group run by the members for the members. We believe that successful networking is about building strong relationships with people who share our values and share our goals.
We are committed to meeting every week and helping each other to achieve our business goals. Some of our group have been networking together for years, building trust and creating opportunities, and we’re looking forward to sharing that dynamic with new members.
Sunrise is one of the longest lived and leading networking groups in Birmingham. Our members travel into our meetings at Edgbaston every week from across the West Midlands – because we know Sunrise Networks works.
ONE SEAT POLICY:
We have a one seat policy. That means that your products or services cannot overlap or duplicate our existing members. If you are unsure, please contact the member directly, or speak with the committee to establish whether there is a conflict before you apply.
Attend the weekly meeting:
Building trust in your business starts by getting to know you. Members must attend the weekly meetings or, on the few occasions when you cannot make it, send a replacement such as work colleague or supplier, to represent you.
Meet regularly with other members:
Get to know the other members with regular 121s so that you can introduce them to your own contacts and recognise opportunities to refer them easily.
Pass good quality referrals:
Quality referrals are better for everyone. Take time to identify good referrals and make introductions directly.
Invite appropriate visitors to attend:
Invite guests who you believe can positively contribute to the group.
Do what you say, when you have agreed to:
Trust is our overriding requirement. Do not let other members down.
COSTS:
£975 per annum.
Plus £87 per month, payable by Standing Order on 1st of each month to cover the costs of venue and breakfast each week.
The application process
When received, the details you have provided are reviewed by the committee. This includes a credit check. Following initial checks, your application is discussed at the monthly committee meeting. Therefore, the approval process can take between 2-4 weeks.
Once accepted, your start date will be the 1st of the next month. Payment of the remaining £775 and your initial standing order of £87 is required then.
If your application is not successful, we will refund your £200 deposit within 14 days of this decision.
Important Information
Sunrise members are a supportive group. We provide a mentor to help you understand and become accustomed to our requirements from members.
However, where a member is not supporting members as required, the committee retains the right to ask you to resign your membership or may refuse a request to renew. This allows us to maintain the quality and integrity of our group.
